ABIDING

Abiding!

That silence in her

Pushed a clot of blood in me

Knocking the inner voices

Palpable only to the contrite self.

Rubbing the dryness in her eyes

A solemn me argued

I shall be the shore to your flow

Damp and precise

Till the limit of being timeless

And beyond

    • Thank U Sayanti for such pleasant words ๐Ÿ™‚
Well for the sketch M glad U asked….. there were a number of reasons; like โ€˜sheโ€™ is a piece of imaginary so its better off with no face, to name one …..and then I thought No face would be a stronger expression for timeless and ever lasting horde. ….or if โ€˜Abidingโ€™ has to follow an emotion on a woman face, its got be quite trivial and perhaps I wonโ€™t be able to portray it potently, so I rather abstain than being unjust ……hope it filled u up ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanks again for ur presence…wish u all the luck in ur days ahead ๐Ÿ˜€

  1. Saaransh, “ABIDING” is beautiful, passionate, with a hint of sadness, “That silence in her”. It seems as though narrator will wait for her.

“I shall be the shore to your flow” is a stunning line, and the suggestion of forever at the end is lovely. Your artwork is spectacular, she has such an ethereal feel. The drawing is paired perfectly with your words. Beautiful presentation Saaransh.

Wishing you a terrific weekend, may it be filled with much joy, happiness and creativity. Take good care. ~ Mia ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Great piece of art, really. Though I thought the reason of ‘no facial expressions’ was giving a ‘stronger impression’ , but then the numerous reasons cited by you made me see your side quite clearly. That’s exactly what an artist cum writer would deliberate upon!
Also, the poem was stunning as usual.
Keep sketching and writing. Happy blogging!

  3. Wow Saraansh bhai. . You are such a great artist. Beautiful sketch. . And wow, hair <3. . The incomplete face tells a lot here I think. Is it intentional? Very beautiful bhai. The poem is so well penned with great vocabulary. Love your work.

Have a beautiful week ahead. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Hope she finds you!
    And you find her!

The first thing that came into my mind after looking the sketch is–

    Either she is lost
    Or you are lost.

There are possibilities that you are trying to hide her from the entire world.

Also possible that she is hidden on her own.

Or your imaginations are trying to meet your eyes! And you are not sure that wat the perfect imagery cud be!

There are lots of points that can be clarified here.
    But I must tell you.
The hidden shape of this art hides inside each reader’s imagination.

They try to complete it themselves.
Or try to explore about her existence.

    The poem is fierce!

I see; ur strong desire to break her silences
And the timeless efforts you can go through!.
Very relevant to the sketch like always!

    Keep spreading ur magic.

    • Jyotee …u have such a niche towards Art ..I admire it immensely, its hard to find people who marks a sketch so intriguingly…every diacritic u opined holds true in here and that humbled me deeply ….m so glad u liked it and endorsed it with such kind words that made my night…….Thank U Ms. Charmer….keep spreading ur light …love seeing u here ๐Ÿ˜€ take care

  5. Saaransh, my friend. Wonderful, no – SPECTACULAR poem. And of course the artwork is great. Love that hair. Wish I had it. Hahaha. This is beautiful Saaransh. I especially enjoyed “A solemn me argued
I shall be the shore to your flow”
Maybe you should give me some poetry writing lessons. Haha. I’ve been feeling dry.
I hope you are well. Please have a lovely week.
